Welcome to SDT As a software solution provider for various applications SDT also provides the necessary hardware for our applications in our leasing agreements. The hardware belongs to the client and becomes their property. We maintain the hardware for the term of the lease including all repairs and service maintenance. Hardware is soley dependant upon the specific application at hand. Also the antisipated amount of user traffic in the application. For example if the application is for a small user group of 25 or less users, we provide a single server system utilizing a raid storage system with mirroring and tape backup running on a single 2.4 processor and 2 gigabytes of ram. This system is networked into your existing business intranet structure. For a multi-user application of 26 users or more upto 50 users we utilize the same single server configuration but we replace the single processor configuration with a dual processor mother board and increase the available ram to 4 gigabytes. For more than 50 users 2 [two] servers are installed and clustered together, one being the primary controller and the second as a secondary. In this configuration, if the primary was to go down or malfunction the secondary will continue to operate. Therefore the user will not suffer any operational down time. Once the primary was brought back up on line the working secondary would write all of the lost info from down time back onto the primary controller.

Everyone needs a little training on most new applications. SDT does provide training workshops for their clientel. For a larger user group we like to have the administrators attend class first. Administrative training is a bit more involved as compared to user training. Administrators would learn the operational functions of the application to include backup, editing,restore and delete fuctions. The Administrator class is a 1 day instructional class. For the general front end users, they will receive a 1/2 day class of basic operational training. They will learn much of the same as the Administrators but they will not be given access to the admin functions in the real world but they will have the ability to be aware of how those functions are applied. One front end user will be designated as an alternate Administrator in the event the Administrator is un-available during any work day period. SDT provides the workshops either at the clients location or at a remote facility or conference area off property.SDT does provide the necessary materials for the training workshops as well as beverages and the noon meal for both groups in an off property workshop location.
